Wayne Rooney Charged With Drink-driving

Everton Striker, Wayne Rooney has been charged with drink-driving, Cheshire Police have said.

Wayne Rooney was arrested by 02:00 BST after the police stopped his beetle in Altrincham Road, Wilmslow. Cheshire Police claims Rooney was driving over the normal speed limit.

He has been released on bail and will appear at Stockport Magistrates' Court later this month.
