Capital Oil Boss, Ifeanyi Ubah Has Been Released By The DSS

The Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited and Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club, Ifeanyi Ubah, has been released by Department of State Security (DSS).

On Friday, 5th May, Ifeanyi Ubah was arrested, by the DSS for his refusal to remit N11 billion of realised from the sales of petroleum products stored in his facility by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

DSS spokesman, Tony Opuiyo also accused Dr, Ubah of inciting members of the Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union to stop lifting petroleum products.

Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, presided over by Justice Muhammed Idris, orders DSS to produce Capital Oil boss and show why Ubah should not be released unconditionally which they failed to produce or release him.
