Ahmad beat Hayatou to win CAF presidential election
Ahmad Ahmad wins CAF Presidential Election, beating Issa Hayatou who has been in office since 1988.
Ahmad got 34 votes out of 54 while Hayatou had only 20.

Hayatou leaves the room as his challenger, Ahmad addressed the congress. "My first commitment, if I am elected, as president, is the development of a code of ethics," he said.
"African football cannot be managed by bandits."
