Nigeria wins Women’s National Team of the Year award
The Super Falcons on Thursday won the Glo-CAF Women’s National Team
of the Year after winning their 8th Africa Women’s Cup of Nations title
in December.
The Nigerians, who defeated the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon 1-0 to win the 2016 AFCON, won the award ahead of Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa and Zimbabwe
